I know the "no tunnel" rule, but corrupt taxi drivers have figured a way to long haul even when bypassing the tunnel (been a victim of that).

Which exact route should I tell the taxi driver to take in order to avoid being "non-tunnel local road long hauled"?

    Thanks.

Always said "take Swenson and Harmon". Fare should be ~$17 plus tip and airport fee.

Based on our trip in September:

Aria from the new terminal via Swenson $18

Aria back to the new terminal via tunnel $29 (got long hauled...was late for flight so didn't have time to argue but I wish I could have bitch slapped the taxi driver!!!) Grrrr.... No more taxis for me after this trip...MOFO's....

Down LV Blvd, left at Flamingo and on to the airport. If they take you another way, let them, and as you drive into the airport, ask for the taxi cab authority phone number (it's on the dash) so that you can call and report being long hauled. Or offer to pay him $15 total, regardless of whats on the meter and you won't call the taxi authority.

Anytime I've been long hauled and threatened to call the authority, I've paid the fair price for the ride. I don't need a free ride, I want a fair price.
