One of my favorite things to read about on VMB is trip reports and specifically wins, losses (not fun to read about losses, but interesting none-the-less), and swings. If you feel so inclined, please share your stories here. Please also state as many details as you would like, including what game(s) you played, where/when it happened, how it happened, etc, etc. Most of my trips are a blur and I have a hard time remember specific hands after the fact. I can remember how the swings are very emotionally draining...

    I will start it off:

Biggest win: Wynn 2008 - approx $87k playing Blackjack (two day trip)

Biggest loss: Encore/Wynn 2009- $45k playing Blackjack (one day trip)

Biggest swing: Encore 2015 - went from $50k down to a $44k win playing Blackjack (one day trip) - pivotal hand was winning a double on a table max $10k hand for a $20k win ($40k swing on one hand)

    Anyone else care to share?

Biggest win over $5000 on Belmont where California Chrome was racing. Took him out of my boxes and wheels and it paid off.

Loss around $1000 in a day nothing that bad.

My swings usually go from good to bad. Not as good about walking away a winner as I am a loser

    Trips to Las Vegas:
Biggest swing %-wise is going from my last $35 as I'm downtown and my credit line is back on the strip so I decide to play it and take a cab back if I bust. I go from $35 to $1100.

Found a $5 craps table at Downtown Grand, $5 don't and putting the rest on odds. Pressed it a couple of times before switching to the Pass and continued my luck.

    Fun Thread!!

Biggest Vegas Win: April 2015, Mississippi Stud at Margaritaville. Was playing alone, got a pair of fives in the hole, I told the dealer that I hate low pairs, because I know you are supposed to bet 3x on third street with any pair, but it seems to never work out. I told her I would play this one correctly and bet 3x. Third street came out a 5! BOOM, Three of a kind! so I maxed out fourth and fifth street. Fourth street was a rag. I told the dealer...wouldn't it be crazy if I got a 4 of a kind...then BOOM 5th street the last 5. 4OAK for $2k. Got a full house a few hands later

Biggest non-Vegas win: February 2015, $4k on a $5 Pink Diamond at a local Indian Casino

Biggest Vegas Lose: May 2013, $1800, three day trip
Biggest Non-Vegas Lose: March 2015, Local Indian Casino, $2000 in 1 hour...chasing a huge win, went on tilt...bad

Biggest Vegas Swing: April 2015, Down $1200 to up $2000 - 4OAK, $600FP from slot tournament into $1300 cash
Biggest Non-Vegas Swing: February 2015, Down $700 to up $3300

My wife hit this at MSS, in September of 2012...I had put $100 in and I wasn't really winning, so I told her to play a few hands...boom!

My biggest loss, was playing craps for like 8 hours, earlier in 2012, to the tune of $5000; at JANugget in Reno. (It was a $5 table too; just COLD COLD COLD)
    Palace Tower Suite!

This wasn't in Vegas but is now Vegas related....

Last week I told my wife I wasn't going to go to her soccer game as I wouldn't be back from doing some Xmas shopping in time. In reality, I had been walking round a mall all afternoon pissed off as I had not been able to find her a Xmas present and I wanted to go for a pint!

I was walking to the pub, but then remembered her friend lived round the corner and often drinks in there, not wanting to get busted I went to a local casino instead. 10 mins later I cashed out $1200 from a slot machine and went straight home.

Guess what I used that $$$ for? Xmas present sorted, I have booked a suprise Vegas trip for New Years Eve!
