    Trips to Las Vegas:
I'm newly diamond and received an interesting offer in the mail today that I'm hoping some experienced total rewards players can give me some advice on.

It's a offer for up to 3 nights dec 12th thru 14th at most of the vegas properties that includes a complimentary inside stateroom for me and a guest.

I'm planning to visit vegas over New Years but just got enough points to earn the companion pass with southwest so an extra weekend trip to vegas isn't out of the question if this cruise holds some value.

My main question is what is the true cost of this "free cruise" I know that their is a lot of fees associated with cruises but have never been on one so this offer intrigues me.

    The offer lists
    Mexican Rivera

Anyone taken a comp cruise from cet before?

Do a search on CRUISE and you will many threads on this.

1 - The offer has nothing to do with being Diamond. It is based on your ADT, like almost all offers.
2 - The casino offers this to get you into the land based casino with hopes you will donate.
3 - The cruiseline offers this in hopes you will donate when you cruise.
4 - Generally (most of the time), you still pay some taxes and port fees. Couple hundred each.
5 - You can usually upgrade to better cabin for the difference in price
6 - As a casino guest, you might be a perk, like free drinks while playing
