    My Trip Report

Didn't get much traction on the group trip report for next weekend, so I'll go ahead and start my own. My last, and first, trip report back in August sort of fizzled out (drunk), so we'll see how I do on this one. Feel free to post here if we happen to meet up. This is sort of a birthday trip for me because I have to go on a business trip over my birthday a week later. Going with my usual partner in crime C, who's a bit older, but a degenerate none the less. I've transitioned to the Wynn from the Mirage over the last few years because I love the service, rooms and amenities better. I usually have to pay a bit whereas I was comped at Mirage, but it's worth it to me. What's a couple hundred bucks in the grand scheme of things? I'm not really chasing comps anymore.

    Plans in priority order:

    - Leaving San Diego via car on Friday at 4:30 AM. I'm used to getting up early and I like to avoid the traffic and get a full day in on Friday. Should be at the Wynn by 9:00 or so.
    - lots of drinking. If you remember from my last TR, I'm a huge craft brew fan. I bring a ton with me since I drive. I'll post a pic of the supplies in a few days.
    - tons of gambling. Mostly craps and Blackjack, but I'll occasionally slow down with some Pai Gow.
    - eat breakfast Saturday at Mon Ami. This is a Tradition. Love the bananas foster waffles.
    - eat at Wazuzu at Encore. Love this place.
    - no other meals planned. Hope to try somewhere new this trip for my bday, but I've been quite a few places.
    - meet the VMB'ers on Saturday for craps and whatever else comes our way. I'm going to have to pace myself to try to make this one. Usually by Saturday night, I'm thoroughly loaded and just gamble at the home casino.
    - Depart LV on Sunday morning. Nothing planned that day, because I need to get home and recover for a business event on Monday.

Drop me a line if you are staying at Wynncore or want to meet up earlier. I'll probably be around there or that part of the strip on Friday, then a little strip crawl on Saturday starting with the breakfast at Mon Ami. Follow along for brief updates and photos of my location and you may run into me.

    Hope to see you there!

OK, so the beer shopping is done. For you beer geeks, here is what I've got:

12 - Ballast Point Grunion Pale Ale 5.5%
12 - Port Brewing Ponto Session IPA 4.5%
6 - Mother Earth Brewing Boo Koo IPA 6.5%
    6 - Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin 7%
6 - Firestone Walker Easy Jack Session IPA 4.5 %
1 - Russian River Supplication Sour Brown Ale 7% (special bday brew for me)

The Pontos are 16 oz. tall boys. I went for more session-style beers since I'll be drinking all day and night. Sounds like a lot for two people, right? NOT! I can put back a few and I'm hoping to meet some of you guys and share a few.

Only four more sleeps! Hit the bank today... Bankroll shall remain a secret!

I also scored a couple boxes of new "bigger size, better value" orange Pedialyte powder and some new breed "liver support" pills, Bar Mate, that someone on here mentioned. Sorry, I forgot who, but they really seemed to be going big and knew their stuff. I've used another brand called Pretoxx before and that seemed pretty good. Oh well, you can see, I have all the bases covered![IMG]
