Men struggle with this at times. But staring too much is definitely creepy. Hopefully I didn't overly stare when meeting you! Also my gf might have punched me if I did... [emoji6]

    Good luck today!

    Thank you all!

Just saw my queen Celine Dion. Epic show. Class act. Flawless vocals. Amazing wardrobe and physique. Truly a class all her own.

Dined at the.my fav buffet at Planet Hollywood before seeing that vision of love! Poor network service down there. Ate mostly snow crabs. Some key items like the meAtloaf and mac and cheese were lacking for me and the highlight at the buffet tonight were.their grapes!

    [IMG][IMG]

Crisp, sweet and juicy! Maybe you know how to find excellent grapes in your life but finding nonsour, nonsoft, nonbland grapes is a struggle.I guess 30.99 dinner well spent....

Happy Birthday! Enjoying your trip report. I am so there with you on the grapes, I always taste one in the store before buying, because I hate getting home and having sour, mealy grapes!

    Keep the updates coming!

Lol. I snuck one at Kroger the other day. Yeah, they taste just like cotton candy. It's pretty off-putting actually.

    El Cortez? :poke:

Yup, I know what you're talking about (finding non comp deals). I used to stay at the el cortez but with their resort fees I get a better deal staying at the Cal now, not a bad choice since I usually play at MSS. Still it's probably $100 or so more for my 5 or 6 night trip compared to previously. Can't really find $19 a night deals anymore.

Lately I find some of the non-strip/close to strip motel/hotels to have the lower rates. Some are right near the convention center, like mardi gras inn and rodeway inn and Fortune Hotel and Suites.

After staying in Hostels in London and Paris I don't think I want to go that route while I'm in vegas, I would rather have my own room at least. Yeah, I haven't been back to Europe since my first visit in 2013. Last year I went to japan and had a blast. It was actually cheaper to go there than to vegas, esp since there is no gambling (I don't go to pachinko parlors, lol). Airline rates lately have going to japan almost the same price as going to vegas if you can believe that.

Omg you're RIGHT. Also, pretty sure those Trump chandeliers were still there as they were rebranding to the Nugget, if I remember correctly. Seriously. LOL.

    Also happy birthday.

Terrible wifi at rio. Could not update fast and phone is dying now so here are some updates.

Stopped at voodoo lounge and oh what a skyline!
    [IMG][IMG]
    Plus voodoo is super creepy

Left within.minutes as the music was sucky. Ordered a shirley temple at ibar and got carded.

Started today with a few hour dip in the pool

Seems as though someone was complaining about me because no more complimentary entry for women and no solo bathing?? Please enlighten me. Who spilled?

Such CET nickel and diming. It's the Rio; is the pool really that popular?

Maybe if I knew how to swim I'd know the answer to this question: Why is "solo bathing" prohibited there? Is it a liability/safety issue?

    I would guess so.

In terms of the prohibited activity, "swimming alone".

I guess they don't want you to be in the pool alone. :nono:
