I am going to be in Downtown LV Christmas to New Years staying at The D and plan on going to California and MSS both. I skipped them for two years because of mobility problems... this year I will have a senior scooter, but need directions on exactly how to get to them on the scooter. Thanks in advance for the help!

Vegas in Christmas might be cold, I would stay outside as little as possible so I would go from the D over to Binions, drive (inside) though Binions through the back area (by the poker tables) and out the door, then cross the street to get to the Cal. there is a handicap walkway by the fast food area in the cal to get to the rest of the casino, there is also a handicap walkway near the front desk.

To get to MSS from the Cal you can take the Cal West tower elevators (3 available, look for the escalators as they are nearby) up to the 2nd floor Mezzanine. from there, walk through the mezzanine and go through the walkway above Main St. which connects the Cal with MSS. there is a (long) walkway at the MSS to go down a few feet but there is an elevator to get you down to the casino level.

    hope this helps.

Thank you Makiki Boy for replying. That seems to cover everything I needed to know... the best route and especially where the elevators are located... thank you very much. I'll put this information on my "Las Vegas Trip Hints" list. I try to plan ahead for all eventualities on my trip so when I get there I can just enjoy myself and win some money to start the New Year!
