Does Sam's Town still have a shuttle running to downtown? I will be going next month with my dad and we are staying the first two nights at Sam's Town. He is in a VP tournament on Saturday and was thinking it would be a good time to check out all the changes downtown since the wife is not to fond of going downtown.

Yes, free and it leaves Sam's about every 1:15 beginning at 9 AM and the last one leaves Sam's at 8:15 PM.

Returning, it leaves from the east side (1st St) of the Cal beginning at 8:30 AM and the last one to Sams departs at 9 PM. Same schedule, about every 1:15.

There are printed schedules at both hotels.

Thanks Joe. Just need to get downtown. We will have a rental and my dad will drive down after his tournament for the trip back. He makes a great designated driver. Can't wait to play some VP at MSS after reading your reports.

Dunno about the downtown shuttle , but I got the Sams shuttle from the strip (Harrahs) June this year, and it was a 55 seat full size coach, could not have been more than 8 people on it, maybe their shuttle van was out of service or something.

Sam's is using the large coach for both shuttles and it's very nice and quick.
