Sad news for SoCal Vegas roadtrippers

    Wildfires claimed a true piece of Americana today in Southern California along the 15 freeway, at the Cajon Pass, between San Bernardino and Victorville. The historic roadside diner Summit Inn was the first restaurant to greet you as you made it to the top of the pass on your way north to Vegas through the high desert. Anyone ever stop here on a road trip? I did a few times, and actually preferred it to Peggy Sues in Yermo...

    I've heard of it but never stopped. I have stopped at Peggy Sue's and liked it. (I also kinda miss the Bun Boy. - Always got a kick out of that name.) :)
