I'll be arriving from Phx around 4pm on a Friday as opposed to my usual noon time arrival. In my best SNL "Californians" voice: I'll take the 515 North to the 215 North then to the 15 North and exit Flamingo to the Gold Coast.

How much rush hour traffic am I going to run into? I have no problem staying on the 515 to Flamingo Blvd if there's the usual rush hour backups in those areas. I might do just that and visit Terribles Casino on the way.

I don't have first hand experience to help ya. BUT... until someone does I can point you to a tool that might help. Try Google Maps. There is a cool traffic tool that could help you.

At the upper right corner of the map there is a box that will expand when you hover your mouse over it. When the box expands select Traffic. After Traffic is selected a box will appear at the lower left corner of the map that says Live traffic. Click change, which will give you the option to change the day and time. The traffic conditions on the map will represent the time and day you select.

Unfortunately, this will not change drive times after inputting driving directions, which I am looking for now for my situation. But it does give you an idea of the most congested areas. I hope this helps until someone with more knowledge chimes in. :)

    Thanks.

I use Google maps quite a bit but never for traffic. It doesn't look like I'll have a problem at 4pm.

It also doesn't give updated pictures. They look to be 2 years old.
