Has anyone ever had or seen this hand in Let It Ride? I think the odds are about 1 in 650,000.
Not in LIR but saw someone hit one at Mississippi Stud two weeks ago in Murphy NC. Basically the same game as LIR in reverse.
I saw one at Borgata about 5 years ago. Lady sitting 2 seats from me hit it and thought she had only a flush at first. Took them about 30 minutes to verify it and pay her. She did give each player at the table $100 and tipped the dealer $500.
I've only seen a 6 high straight flush myself.
last time at Hollywood Columbus while playing pai gow dealer got a six card royal in spades and was only one card off to have the seven card royal. she had three straight flushes in 30 minutes, was a brutal table. that would be a nice pay day
Wow, always the dealer. My fist time playing 3CP I was dealt two aces the first hand and was thinking this game is a breeze until the delarer turned over three nines.
I've played "carny" games a long time, and THAT and a Royal at UTH are two hands I've never seen (I've seen quads and a straight flush at LIR; unfortunately not mine)
the highest I've ever got at LIR is a Fullhouse, and also got the "mini royal" in the 3 card bonus (AKQs) for 50:1
I HAVE seen a King High diamond straight flush in the 6 card bonus, af Harrahs tahoe...dude had the Ace of HEARTS too, to be that close to the million
I was at a table at Luxor years ago when one was dealt at Caribbean stud but I haven't seen one at LIR.
I was at a casino in Michigan City a couple years ago and had just sat down at their Carib Stud game and played about 5 hands when I got dealt a straight flush for a nice 5 grand on their 1 dollar bonus bet. Tipped the dealer a couple Hundo and played a couple more hours and had a dollar on the table for her every hand. Shame though because it was 9-K spades....one away....
I have seen two. My most amazing LIR story: Guy sitting next to me pulled his second bet back having 4 to a straight flush with no gaps. Fifth card filled the straight flush with just the one bet.
Pulled back the first bet because I was losing all over the place, and was only playing $5 a spot, but when the 4 came out, left the rest. Also had a $1 on the bonus spot, for a $4000 total win.
they usually use one of those random number generators to pick who gets first hand but this particular day it was broken and the dealer was using dice. had the machine been working i would have come up with some conspiracy theory. couldn't be more random than using the dice.
me and my buddy hit the royal at Ballys one morning...$15,000 this was before the bonus was available.
Two years ago I was sitting at the next table over from this Three-Card-Poker table at Planet Hollywood where a guy got the 6-card diamond royal flush for a cool million! I was also there when someone got a 6-card royal flush of another suit for $100k. That was the night we had a VMB get-together where we reserved a craps table last year.
I saw one at Sam's Town in Tunica MS. The young lady sitting next to me was dealt the A,K, J of diamonds and pulled her first bet back. I told her she really should see one but she said no she had lost too much money already. The dealer flips up the 10 of diamonds and she still pulls back her second bet. Of course the dealer flips up the Q of diamonds and she wins $5K. This was before the $1 bonus bet. It took the casino forever to pay her and we all had to sit there and wait. She finally got paid and walks away without tipping the dealer or giving any of us a little something something for our wait. The sad thing is my husband was sitting in that chair about an hour before and busted out. Oh well, it was still pretty cool to see someone hit it. My biggest hit was two 4OAK. Dealt trip queens and freaked when the fourth was turned over and then dealt a pair of sixes and like an idiot pulled back my first bet because I was almost broke.
At Monte Carlo I got the 3, 4, and 7 of clubs. They had a jackpot payout if you had a 5-card royal flush. A 5-card straight flush got you 10 percent of the jackpot. It paid down to a 5-card flush. The dealer had two face down cards off the side for everyone's fourth and fifth cards. I remember telling the dealer I needed a 5 and 6 of clubs. And that's what she turned over. The jackpot was 28k at the time so I got 2.8k.
I have not seen higher than a 4OAK in LIR, but I rarely play it, nor do I ever watch people playing it. I got the 4OAK once when I played it a couple of years ago.
Saw a Royal at LIR years ago at Green Valley Ranch. Also had an internet friend hit one for $95K total at MGM. One of the best trip reports I ever read but it was on a private board.
Girlfriend hit the Royal at Mississippi Stud at our local a few years ago. She did not share with the only other player at the table (me).
I hate autocorrect also, I know you meant Ex-girlfriend.......LOL JK
