A little preface. I was a platinum member last year and got 5 nights free at all CET properties. Since my first time in Vegas I won 6000 playing blackjack I suppose.

With my offers for my second trip, I ended up staying at Augustus Tower with fountain view which was great. I didn't have the same luck this time. I lost 3000. Consequently, my offers decreased big time.

I am planning on another trip this May. I checked yesterday and I could get free rooms at Harrahs. 20 dollars for 4 nights at Flamingo and about the same for Ballys. So I am probably going to stay at one of these three places.

Then I looked today and it is about 70 for 4 nights at Harrahs. about 120 for both Ballys and Flamingo. Does it fluctuate this much?

Oh yes, at least daily. I got a comped room at Caesars in April on a room that was $120/nt the night before I booked and $89/nt the day after I booked. For those same dates, the Rio has ranged from being comped to being $600/nt.

Have a question. I should know this having gambled as much as I have. just something I always wondered. When being rated for comps by the casino and pit bosses: Do he pit bosses rate you? Or is there censors on table able to tell how much you bet?

I always thought it was just pit bosses and they rate you on what they see.

it fluctuates pretty often, but i wouldn't say daily.

When I'm planning a trip I'll check pretty frequently though. And my advice is if your days come up comp, then book it, even if you'd prefer another hotel. You can also call and have the booking move if you get the offer at the hotel you want.

They do change quite a bit, Mlife is the same. You can sometimes try either "private browsing" or clearing your cookies, that has worked for me in the past.

Correct about rating, it is whatever the pit boss sees and enters into the computer. Some chips do have RFIDs in them, but I've only heard of these being used for security reasons and not for bet tracking.
