Has anyone stayed at Palace Station at the end of the strip?

Is Palace Station Tower Room and Palace Station Courtyard, same hotel? Just different type of rooms?

How are the rooms? We've stayed at Fiesta Henderson which rooms were okay but thin walls was horrible especially there was bunch of children next door making all kinds of noise.

Is Palace Station rooms better or at least thicker walls than Fiesta Henderson?

    Thank you

Same hotel. Tower rooms are updated. Courtyards are not.

We've never stayed there but just so you know......Palace Station is not on the strip. It's on the other side of Hwy 15 and you wouldn't be able to walk to the strip (at least not easily) from there. IMHO there are much better places to stay from what I've seen and heard.

It is the same hotel in name only. The tower rooms are very nice and have been updated. Check out the pictures on their web site. The courtyard rooms are in separate 2 level buildings like you would find at a motel. Big difference ...

The PS tower rooms are much better than FH.

Stayed in a courtyard several years ago, for one night. It made Imperial Palace look like a... well... palace.

Yeah, stay in the tower rooms. Courtyard are not nice. We liked the tower rooms, but it has been a few years since we were there. It's not far from the strip but is not walkable. But if you have a car it is convenient to both the strip and downtown.

PS has a shuttle that will take you to the Fashion Show Mall on the strip.

Their resort fee is about 17 dollars a night, which makes it just as expensive (or more so) than Imperial Palace in many cases. For location alone, it would be worth spending another few bucks a night for the center of the strip, since rooms are apparently on par with one another.

I stayed in one of the courtyard rooms, called garden rooms at the time. It's basically an old motel 6 that was next door that they connected to the casino with a hallway.

I was surprised at how old and dark the room was. It wasn't what I pictured when I booked it.

I like Palace Station, I usually hit the buffet for breakfast when in town (2 for $5.00 with the LVA coupon),

I'm sure the tower is fine.
