Is it possible to book a room at the front desk of a hotel?

Yes. It is sometimes more expensive to do so. I once had a flight canceled so I called the front desk and was given a pretty high rate. I then logged into their website and save a good bit.

Thanks. I'm here now and wanted to book another trip. It's Vdara, so they won't have a host, mlife desk, etc. Probably try going thru their website to compare.

I think Aria hosts handle Vdara rooms.

Sure, any hotel will take a walk up booking. But, you are at a high risk of high rates.

But, if you are asking about just booking, then the website is your best bet. You can call in, but the actual front desk would normally just transfer your phone call to reservations which may be in the back room, or could be in another city.

OOPS - sorry, just read your other post. Personally, I would just wait until you get home. If you are playing enough, you might get an offer.

Thanks all. Mlife rate is the lowest. Because it's non-gaming, probably only discounts thru them.

If you're booking a future trip there's really no need to do it now in person.
