Hi all. I'm a big fan of the film rock of ages due to a love of 80's rock music. Is there anywhere on the strip that accommodates this, either a club, bar or casino? Would just love to kick back and enjoy the music. Thanks!
There's a show at Tropicana... Raiding the Rock Vault. I believe we got tickets from Groupon for the show - $39 each for VIP seats (tables right by the stage)... It goes back to the 60s, but it's a great show. Real former bander members (From bands like Dio, Meatloaf, Heart, REO Speedwagon, Slaughter, etc). Two great hours of music.
Even better : How about some original members of the bands that did the top hits of the 70's and 80's ??? Then you absolutely have to see this : RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT at the Tropicana Las Vegas!!! Great show. Yes we still like Rock of Ages the play and the movie but this is really ROCKS compared to ROA = raidingtherockvault dot com
Last time I was there, the Bourbon Room at Venetian spun all 80's hits..we had a great time, if you want a place to chill and or dance and have some drinks and listen to 80's hits
I'll pile on for Raiding the Rock Vault, two hour concert, great show. The Bourbon Room in Venetian was scheduled to close when Rock of Ages moved to Rio, but it looked like it was still open at the end of Feb. I'd call before I made a special trip there.
Damn, I hope they keep that place open. I wanted to visit on my last trip but didn't get the chance, I was hoping to go later in the year when I visit again. I may go check out Rock of Ages, I saw Raiding the Rock Vault last time.
