    My Trip Report

Well I have to stay sober when I go on my FreePlay runs @ The Rivers, and I really enjoy taking free shots at their 98.99% $1 Double Super Times Pay 8/6 Boner Deluxe. Started off on single line and hit Quad 4's so I decided to "Go For It" Clark Griswold Style and shoot for a little Triple Play. LIving History Ellen!!!!

Great hit! Much better than the 5x hit i got on DSTP Boner Deluxe I got at nickels at Four Winds last year.

But i think both Four Winds and Horseshoe Hammond also have 8/6 for dollars if you ever make it out there.

yeah i'm not driving out there for their $10 freeplay offers (after I hit a royal last year in my only visit in 5 years), while Rivers gives me $40 every day but Tues/Wed and is 5 min from my house with same odds....

....and I love that sweet music they play.....in addition to the normal music below from your individual machine, now whenever there is a handpay a little jolly music and a blurb about "another big winner" plays over the entire casinos sound system.

Damn Beeejay, you have been on fire at Rivers lately! At this rate you should quit the Lobster and just play at Rivers! Also I add my vote for the extended preambles to your trips as they are just as good as the trips themselves sometime. Also vote for the post-ambles!

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the pre and post action, I'm sure we will continue to get over-excited pre-trip and do the reports in the usual style.

As for the Rivers run of late, yeah I am very thankful to have been so fortunate. It's kind of hard for me to believe I can play those Aria STP for hours and hours (as well as on videopoker.com at home) hitting nothing special, but hit a quad with multiplier on back-to-back days in less that 15 minutes of play. I am definitely not complaining, and winning at home is easier to "hold onto the cash". In fact this last week was perfect timing since I'm now out of state for 4 months and can rehab myself involuntarily.

I love having that last memory of gambling being a win rather than the bitter taste of a loss I've had many times.

The best thing is Natedogg's current live TR helping me adjust to real life slinging on the crab.

    BeeeJay -

Welcome back to the Times Square Red Lobster. As I am leaving for Vegas Wed night for a week, you can use my office, with a window precisely 30 feet above the glowing lobster, perfect for hostess surveillance....

Your Rivers luck has my blood coursing a bit faster - and I am finally feeling the Vegas juices, ready to lay waste on this trip. I may even do a trip report.....

Hope to catch up with you in the big apple -

    JZB

Well nice hit but i just cant seem to find any reason to give rivers my play. Been there once the place sucked in many ways

Just my opinion lobsterman u make it my way ever to BlueChip ill give ya suite on me for weekend to show you how good this place is in comparison. Oh and Four Winds no bother sucks took out 80 grand opening day weekend havent won since quit goin there a year ago even though they keep sending me outrageous comps

    Very nice BeeeJay

I was at the River's a few years back when it first open. The VP JOB sucked out $800 and then I dropped $12k at the Baccarat Table, but then headed to Horseshoe and won $15k so was not a bad trip but I have never set foot in Chicago area. Do miss the HIGH limits there.

Great Job at winning at Rivers. It is not an easy task on the VP or tables there.

I was very disappointed with Rivers. I actually made an excuse to break away from the group I was with just to check it out. Selection of lower limit machines was abysmal! :(

I enjoy the Horseshoe Hammond much better! I do need to check out the Ameristar down there too.
