    B.B.King died today in Vegas, he was 89.
    An icon.

    I was lucky to finally see him live a few years back.

    Not the best shots I admit. They kinda forced the groupie section off to stage right and they were policing cameras somewhat. I had a little Olympus P&S with me and they tolerated it. :)

    I had the pleasure of meeting him in a Delta Crown Room (now called Sky Club) many, many years ago. I believe it was LAX. Wonderful musician, great man, terrible loss.

    There is a youtube video of Eric Clapton sending his condolences about his great friend BB.
    Clapton worked with BB many times over the years. I love Clapton, his roots are in the blues. And BB was the King.
    BB was a pilot, he used to fly himself to gigs. I did not know that.
