I'm staying at the Rio 6/4-6/8 for WSOP. Was wondering are there better/bad times to hit the pool and/or exercise room?
    How is the exercise room?
    Any tips greatly appreciated.

Just came back up to my room from the Rio pool. The last 3 days were very busy at the pool by 10 in the morning...although keep in mind that was the Memorial Day weekend so not sure what regular weekend crowds would be like. The adult only pool is only open on weekends, and the DJ starts at 11am. The poolside restaurant opens at 11am also. The bars are open as soon as the pool opens. Looking down at the pool right now at 12:30pm, there are at least 40 chairs still available and not one cabana is being used yet today.

Can't help you with the exercise room as I haven't been there.

    Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info. I guess getting there early is the key. I hoping poker players don't like pools...

Weekdays you can usually score a lounger at the pool up to about noon, then it's dicey. A lot of people leave their towels on their chairs when they take off so it's not always easy to tell if there's an available chair. Are they in the pool? Bathroom? You can just grab one and see if someone comes back to claim it. Friday/Saturday/Sunday it gets busy right away, best to get out there at 9:00 when they open if you can.
