You can earn comp rooms and free play.. why not actual mlife tier credits?
I think that would be a great reward!

Imagine being able to reach pearl, gold or platinum before you even get to Vegas.
last year, I was about 10,000 TC's from hitting (keeping) gold. It would have been very convenient to earn those 10K TC 's on myvegas.

I'm sure tier credit rewards would be an outrageously huge amount of LP's. IE: 75,000 TC's (the amount needed to reach Gold) would be 750,000 LP's.

Based on the downward spiral of myvegas rewards (things are a lot different than when I first started playing this game) I wouldn't mind picking up some extra mlife TC's for playing myvegas.

The cost of MGM giving out TC's for their players club seems a lot less of an expense than giving away comp rooms, F&B, merchandise, services etc.. right?
So... why not? whats stopping them from tier credits being a myvegas reward? Would you be interested in redeeming your LP's for tier credits?

    Whats stopping them?

For MLIFE, the interest in the myvegas partnership is promoting certain things, getting bodies in the door, and new player acquisition.

Helping people tier up without playing runs pretty counter to those goals. Lets you achieve something without an immediate visit, doesn't serve as marketing for any of their restaurants or shows or hotels, and means nothing to potential new players. MLIFE does not mind the downward spiral in rewards. The downward spiral is completely intentional. The rewards were awesome at first because vegas was in a lull and with new players MLIFE wanted new people signed up and staying at their props. Once you've already stayed they don't want to keep giving you awesome freebies forever. So once they stop seeing that many new MLIFE memberships redeeming, they cut things progressively back.

And now for almost all of their rewards (except for lesser properties), you need to have some 'skin in the game'. They will give you a 'deal', but want to make sure you are spending money to get it. Which is similar to the BOGOS that the non casino rewards have done from the start. And its why playstudios keeps fishing for new partners.
