I'm sure the answer is posted somewhere, and I have looked at the Total Rewards website and other internet site...but I am by no means a super sleuth.

I have 18,000 Total Rewards reward credits. My understanding is that this translates into $180 that I can use towards food, drinks, entertainment ect.

Can I use the 18,000 Reward Credits for $180 of gaming? If so how? Tables/slots only? Will I get Tier Credits and Reward Credits as I use it for gaming?

You can convert reward credits for free play, but at half the ratio you can use them for comps (since there is no retail markup figured in).

So 18,000 points would be $180 in comps or $90 in free play. Pretty sure it only applies to machines (slots/VP). I think you have to go to the TR booth at the casino to get credits turned into free play.

no, you will not earn more TCs/RCs while using your RCs to play.

Kind of didn't think so as it would be double dipping. However, is it similar to the promos though? Can I cash out at any time? After I cycle through the amount, would I then earn reward credits?

you have to run through the amount, then you can cash out or continue playing and earn RCs like playing with any other money.

I guess it would probably be more advantageous to use the $180 towards expenses I would incur anyway and then just have that $180 (that I didn't spend in cash) on gaming.

The only issue is that I don't usually eat very expensive meals anyway, pepper mill, food court and the such. Any ideas on what you would do with $180 of CET reward credits...anyone? I could always use it for beverages at the pool at The Flamingo I guess. I could put it towards a nicer CET hotel...but I really like the Flamingo pool!

Basically anything you were going to spend money on anyway at a CET hotel.

Drinks at the pool is a good idea. Any room charges (actual hotel rate, early check-in, fitness club, internet). Shows. To me its a good use as long as you're not just doing it BECAUSE you have points.

Even with not so expensive meals, you still can add up pretty quickly. Normally I spend about $45 to $70 per day on food. Average probably $50.

Obviously if I eat at Earl of Sandwich every meal it would be about $29 per day lol, but I do like to enjoy myself at times. I love to go get fajitas or a big burger at Margaritaville etc.

charge all your drinks, meals or snacks back to the room. Then use your points to pay for them.

You can pay at Earl with your express comps right off your card. Or you can charge to your room & apply comps at check-out.

Earl is what I wish Subway was! (And I like Subway).

If you go in November or December the Holiday sandwich sounds pretty weird but it is OMG the best thing I hae ever eaten almost. Basically turkey, dressing, cranberry mayo, etc on a roll.
