I have a couple of friends that are getting married downtown and looking for a resteraunt to eat at afterward. It doesn't have to be fancy, but can't be Denny's. Now the catch... they are gettin married at noon on a Monday. Thanks in advance.

Pizza Rock isn't a bad idea. Good eats and drinks. I've reserved a semi private table for 20 at no additional cost. Triple George Grill would be a great option too.

Andiamo's at the D is a great place for a wedding dinner. That's where I would go.

Depends on how nice of a meal they want. I love Binions Steakhouse but its not open till the evening and its a bit on the pricier side. Triple 7 Brew Pub in MSS is very very good, but also maybe not open till evening. Love Hash House a Go Go in the Plaza, one of my favorites. Also for casual dining Magnolias in the 4 Queens is a great stop for lunch!

We're having our post wedding meal at Triple George Grill in April. They let us reserve their side room with a $2000 minimum. We have 20-30 guests and our entree choices are veggie (fake chicken), filet minion and seafood ciopinno for 60+ per person. Just call them in and they're pretty quick with setting everything up as long as no one else has reserved the spot.

I'm assuming you are asking for a place to eat just after the ceremony and not dinner.

777 Brew Pub opens at 11 AM. Nothing fancy, it is what it is advertized as... a brew pub, but the food is very good. On occasion we have seen brides in full dress in there.

Chicago Brewing inside 4Q they also open at 11 and the food is very good there also.

Hash House A Go Go inside Plaza. A restaurant with no bar atmosphere, but they serve drinks.

Chicago Joe's a little walk from downtown, but also good food.

    +1 for Triple George Grill

They are open for lunch and the food and service are both very good. It would be appropriate for an upscale lunch.

I tend to forget about Triple George, but yes, an excellent suggestion and more upscale than my suggestions.

My very favorite place downtown is Vic and Anthony's
at the Golden Nugget. The best steak, oysters and potatoes au gratin ever!
Not sure about lunch time though.
    Triple George is excellent too.
