    Hello All,

This site is a goldmine of information and thought I would throw a question out to all the experienced Vegas travelers out there. I will be in Vegas for a couple of nights next week for work and have 1 open night to myself. I have been to Vegas dozens of times but not often solo. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good restaurant that has a bar area where I could grab some dinner and enjoy some good Vegas ambiance? I do plenty of quiet dinners traveling for work so I would love to go someplace with a fun, busy feel such as STK or Lavo (I think those are decent examples :)).

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help!

Where are you staying? That may help the board to provide recommendations.

Almost every casino has restaurant bar that meets your criteria.

If you're going to be downtown Triple George (right across the street from the DTG, next to Pizza Rock) has a nice bar and fantastic food. Here's a pic of the bar area.

Sorry should have mentioned where I was staying, I will be at the Cosmo.

MikeOPensacola -- I read your trip report and have had Triple George on my list since then, not sure I will get downtown on this trip due to limited time but will definitely check it out on another one!

Many good options for you. My choice would be bar at Gordon Ramsay Steak (assuming it's within your price range). It fits your "fun, busy feel" request. We had drinks, the beef wellington, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert as well as the coffee service. All first-rate. We were very full.

(And I second the nod to Triple George when you are next downtown. Also top-notch.)

I think you have several strong options. I like the vibe at Jaleo, which is open to all of the people watching on that level at Cosmo.

Next door at Aria, I recommend eating at the bar at Javier's (great service and margaritas) or maybe even at Carbone (the bar seemed lively the one night I ate there). Jaleo is fairly loud and open to the casino.

I highly recommend after dinner drinks at Mandarin Bar. The view is killer!
