Regarding resort fee(s) this might work when I book a room at the Riveria with marketing they waive the resort fee. But won't match a better price if I find a better one. So will Boyd, CET, M Life, South Point and etc. do it. I don't know but give it a try as you have nothing to lose. Please keep us posted as there are a number of us interested.

I was very surprised this year my trips to Vegas that resort fees have either been optional or they are waived. The resorts didn't mentioned them but if your fly with participating airlines the fees are exempt. I flew JetBlue a few times with the Wynncore as my hotel. When I checked in the receptionist told me the resort fees are waived because you flew with so and so and it is pay for what services you use. Tried to inquire more but the receptionist didn't say anything further though.

How did they know you flew with JetBlue? A package?

Yeah on the second week of July I was checking JetBlue's site out of the blue and lo and behold from July 28 to July 31st for the Encore package was $608. So I jumped in and booked it. Most of the time I booked Wynncore through their website because on many occasions it is cheaper there but not for this particular July trip. Through Wynncore's site I had to pay the resort fee.
