I am trying to price/book a stay at one of these properties for new years eve and a few days after.

the site says nothing available at any of the places. i have tried thru my membership and as not signed in.

    both say nothing available.

do you think it is already completely filled or are they holding out before posting rates so far in advance...that they can jack up even higher as it gets closer??

it is six months away, but i was able to book some time later in January already.

    Thoughts?

They are not full because I can book a room at any of the caesars las vegas properties for New years eve have not looked when I am not logged in but when I am every hotel shows rooms available. They may be holding rooms available to only certain levels of players but they are not sold out.

They hold things back, trying to get as many big spenders, then middle spenders, then okay spenders they can get.

call now, or call when you know you recent ADT is higher.

They always hold back rooms for their best players and in particular at a time like New Years Eve. It's sort of a reward I guess. We have gone a few times on NYE and it always included a nice dinner and huge party. Alot of fun actually, much better than going for a slot tournament or something like that.

If you enter your arrival date as December 31, 2012 then all the hotels are showing as unavailable... if you change your arrival date to December 30, 2012 then they are all available for New Year Eve.

Some of the Las Vegas hotels do have that restriction, where you can't book your arrival on New Years Eve itself.

Could be something they only have now and might lighten up on if they aren't selling out rooms as NYE draws closer... but I'd just phone in and try to book that way if you are arriving on December 31st itself.

They try to hold as many rooms as possible for invited players on NYE.
Beyond that most hotels have expensive 2 and some 3 night minimum stays.
I think many try to avoid 12/31 check in because the transportation issues start late afternoon on 12/31 and by 6pm no cabs can be found and those that are working will not go near the strip.
