This comes up in so many trip reports, guys like Tringlo, Flushie, and the fellas from the Deeejay/Macker drunk trips (and others I failed to mention) all seem to know where to find the best "I just want to play $0.25 video poker on the strip and drink some free drinks without playing terrible paytables."

Can we start a thread/sticky where these fantastic posters can keep us updated on such spots?

vofree2.com typically lists almost full pay games for strip casinos.

I guess you missed the part where it says "just below full pay" in the title...

I'm very aware of vpfree2, by the way.

I did say ALMOST full pay. No need to be short with me.

Okay, well the implication is that we would be collecting information personally and updating it. This would be information about machines that isn't readily available from any other source on the internet, including vpfree. Sorry to have come off as snippy

Yeah, but it's sorta sporadic. The "old guard" of VPFree2 tends to be very selective on posting games. 9/6 DDB is underrepped in many places because it's technically under 99%. The strip has been lightened up a bit with more people reporting CET to be 98%+ since the 99%+ games are all high roller.

The problem with VPFree2 and strip bartops in particular is...Most strip bartops don't even make it to 98%. :( But a lot of people here still want to get drunk at the strip hotel they're at for "free", or they want to play at the Cosmo bartops because the drinks are so kick-ass or whatnot, so they still ask about bar games a good amount on here. I'll have to organize my own database of knowledge for this eventually...meh. I'm behind on VPFree2 updates too (I typically report 98.8%+ for any whacked out variant of a game I can find); man, I'm so lazy on the write ups though.

I'd be happy to put up a sticky, if someone wants to manage the list. :wink2:

I try not to duplicate content that is done better than I could, somewhere else, like vpfree. If you want to compile and maintain the list, I'll sticky it.

Sonya, I am hoping we can get a collection of people to contribute to something like a "98% or better VP" thread, and I am hoping that Tringlo (or I) can keep it relatively well updated. I just invoked his name b/c I always see his comments on various trip reports telling people that they would be better off playing *X* instead of *Y* and I know that vpfree2 doesn't keep track of the 98% games. I guess I'll PM tringlo and see what he thinks about it all. Thanks for your help, Sonya!

I'll be writing up a decently detailed post soon that VPFree would generally shun based on raw return percentages, but a good chunk of this forum would still appreciate, and I'd also manage any additional updates within that thread.

No problem. Almost done with the initial attempt. Probably will let the Lion's Share chatter die down a bit too before posting it. Lucky SOBs!!! Realizing I am weaker on MGM properties and Cosmo in particular; I never seem to get to Cosmo during the day lately where there actually might be an open seat...lol I'll probably try to spend more time looking at bartops on the next trip too. Now looking through BeeeJay et. al.'s November TR w/Strip Crawl for more info! :evillaugh

Maybe create a list of "requests" for ones you don't have and let people pm you? I could get the bars at MB and Luxor in September
