Can anyone add/confirm companies at the RAC that have kiosks? I've used Alamo there in the past.. Kiosk is a great way to get straight to the car and cut out the BS in line.

Edit: Rented from Thrifty before, no Kiosk, but got the Blue Chip so I can go straight to my car. Well.. they lost my Blue Chip reservation and had to wait in the long ass line anyway :(

Don't quite know what you're asking here.

There are several car rental agencies that have "expedited" rental, I have used Budget, where you bypass the line and go straight to the area where cars are.

    Hertz
    Avis
    National

    all have them as well.

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

Asking which ones have the computer screen where you can complete your rental. No sign up needed, no lines..

    By pass the kiosk

If you sign up for the car rental preferred program , whatever they call it , you can by pass the counter AND the kiosk .Budgets is called "Fastbreak " , Alamo has a "skip the counter ' program . I think Dollar has a separate check in at the counter for their program .

Hertz has a "kiosk" but you end up videoconferencing with a remote agent. I agree that if you want faster service, start enrolling in the frequent renter programs. They will have your info on file and with some programs, allow you to go straight to your car.

thanks for the info. Although the last two times I did one of these programs, they "lost" my reservation and had to wait in line anyway

Enterprise does, although maybe 1/4 of the time it won't read my DL and I have to go to the desk.
