I'm being told by my host that Thu/Fri of March Madness, RR is fully booked over a month out.

Is this likely or just a tactic to reduce available comps?

I don't follow you logic about the comps, but I am not surprised that they may be sold out (although I suspect they are holding back a few rooms for their big customers). I have stayed in Vegas multiple times during MM when the hotel I am in is sold out. I booked my rooms more than a month ago and was already talking to my host about it as far back as November.

I just looked at the Red Rock website availability calendar and it shows March 20-21 as sold out.

In past years, dealing with my host, it also showed as sold out as early as mid-January. That host retired. I believe I must just not be a big enough gambler for the new guy.

A group of 12-16 of us would always hit March Madness and play the best part of 18 hour days for 5 days. I hope there replacement customers can do the same.

    Their loss.
