Sunday funday in AC with some pretty good hits.

First, hit a surprising Royal only holding 2 cards, for $2,000 win

Of course, this being CET, things went very cold and I put most of it back before getting fed up and going to Golden Nugget. Hit AWK on .50 TDB for $2,000 (forgot to take photo). A while later I hit another AWK holding only one Ace for another $2,000.

Finally, held a pair of deuces and drew 2 more with a kicker for $2,000. A good day but could have been a lot better. I was dealt 3 Aces on TDB SEVEN TIMES during the day, and drew the fourth only ONCE out of 70 tries, for $800. Ugh!!!

Not quite as large as some of these hits but thought I'd share my recent 50 cent VP Royal. 13226980_10153660988913014_4323729821605521085_n.jpg

Nice hits! You too JR! Sucks you couldn't pull another AWAK from all those the trip Aces, Mike.

And playing "random rewards" for ten play dollars? That's pretty sick dude. The house probably made a lot from player errors in that game (I say made because it's nearly impossible to find now except on five star units). It's a different strategy every deal! Four to a flush beats AA in that picture as a quick example, but i bet a majority of players would still hold AA out of habit.

This was easily the sickest hit I ever seen on this game. A WoV poster hit it in November. A flush worth $2k+ at dollars, wtf???

Never heard of "random rewards" before....do CET props in Vegas have it?

Yea, I had a lot of luck at Caesar's VP. Can you let me know which bank of machines you used. There's some great ones on the top floor across from the club, near the bathroom entrance and a total rewards desk.

Tring, I was playing this a few weeks ago and a $4,000 full house appeared! I was dealt 2 pair too, and still missed it!!! It is a crazy game, and I am aware that the strategy is crazy, so I do the best I can using logic.

The first hit was on a slant-top All-Star II machine on the lower casino floor where all the VP machines are. The second was in the high limit slot area. It's the only Super Triple Play machine in Caesars.

Are you able to see the randomized pay table each hand before hitting draw? Otherwise I don't get holding suited 9-Q-A.

It might be on some "Five Star Poker" machines (all CET casinos except Paris) for single line, otherwise no. PHo had their Five Star as cheap as quarters last I checked, other places may be dollars or higher (sometimes in high limit rooms). This game is a dying game. Ironically, according to videopoker.com, the only multiline version still left in the entire state of Nevada is at Bellagio.

The other three casinos that offer the multiline game nationwide...eek Golden Nugget and Taj in AC and Four Winds in New Buffalo, MI.

Yes, the paytable is created on the deal, so AQ9 suited is correct there. If the flush paid as little as $37 with the rest of the other payouts being the same, AQ9 suited would have been correct.

Wow, so it seems like you need an app that lets you manually enter pay tables (or genius level ability to do math in your head to calculate EV of each play) to play 100% perfectly.

Pretty much. The wizard of odds has free stuff that works on smart phones.

Disclaimer: Using electronic strategy aids during play are technically illegal in Nevada and most other states.

But I have never heard anyone being prosecuted for it either. Too much work for the casino for no real gain. I've been known to do it from time to time when playing a 2 pair Joker Poker progressive because I don't play the game much.
