I am so tired of this winter. Yes I know, my fault for moving back to Wisconsin, but I have never had the furnace running this late in the year:cry:
I'm getting worried I put the snowblower away too early.:evillaugh

We were freezing this morning. 30º had to bring the flowers in. But a week from tonight I will be in 90º weather. :)

50s here but at least sunny so we could plant flowers. Another cold day and we will be in the 80's after.

It's 102 today in my neighborhood. Hope this isn't a sign of a miserable summer ahead!

76 and a lighter-than-usual breeze coming in from Big Blue today. Farmers' market this morn then decided to hit La Purisima for 18 and no one was around. Bueno. Ripped 5-iron from 193 on 18 and it literally lipped out; played it flipped today, hence the par 3 closer. Yes, Joe, I made the comebacker. lol Oh well. Had four AWESOME days in Scottsdale playing golf earlier this week, too.

Martini time now then gonna ignite the grill.

We're thinking about you, Joe!!

I live in south-east Minnesota...I had 15 inches of snow in my yard on May 3rd. It's been one hell of a spring. Temps in the 30's tonight. Last of the snow finally melted a couple of days ago. Talked to a friend of mine who lives in northwestern Minnesota..they still had 34 inches of ice on his lake...and that was last week!!

we had 103 both days over the weekend, supposed to cool down to the 90's today. We had the A/C going yesterday to keep the upstairs manageable.

Don't fret yet. It's slightly downhill with a trailing wind. I hit a high ball, too. From a normal fairway lie I'm good for 180 with my 5-iron.

OK, off the subject, but can I give a little shout out to the new ProV1?! I normally play Srixon Z Star but was given a dozen Titleists and bashed a few around. I hit 8-iron from a shaggy lie, 150 downwind and stuck it. I mean, hit, bounce, halt. A few holes later, another shot from our gnarly rough, straight uphill 150 with 7-iron, tailwind, to a green I don't think I've held once. Another spin-killing set of circumstances and the green was so hard I could see the ball bounce straight up, yet it held.

OK, I now return you to Joe's regularly scheduled rant.

Thirty degrees here outside of Detroit. For the first time in 20 years I planted my flowers before Memorial Day. Now I get to do it again, they are all mush. Oh well, will be playing my first round of golf so all is well.

Wore my Tiger Woods sweater to for a Noon tee-time in Chicago suburbs yesterday (Prairie Landing). I love that sweater, its cashmere, but oddly feels like a hooker is giving you a massage as it moves on your skin.

Anyway, it was cool enough I never took it off, and on a sunny day.

And I think I'm more jealous of being able to SEE the lip out from 193 yards than being able to hit the 5-iron that far. All that CLEAN LIVING is paying of for Ken!!!

It is nice to have my annual round of golf out of the way for the year and having kept it in the 80's (87) despite 4 lost balls and 4 3-jacks. I was hitting the irons and fairway woods well enough to tempt me back for a 2nd round this year, and even canned a couple 30-footers for bogey.

But the 2 hr 30 min round trip drive in Chicago traffic cured me of that more golf desire ASAP.

Gonna be 80 degrees today, heading downtown in my wife beater on the train to watch all the skirted hotties walking to work!
