Last year Mrs. LV and I visited Vegas twice as well as Myrtle Beach, SC. This year it's been Vegas three times and Panama City Beach, FL. It's been 5:2 Vegas vs other places for us. She enjoys our junkets to the desert but would rather see the numbers flipped in favor of other places. Hmm...just wondering how that goes for the rest of you?

We also usually do LV twice a year....May do a 2 day gambling trip to places within driving distance a couple times a year. Try to do Florida every other year to enjoy the beach...Panama City Beach is our last couple trips too....this year it is Disney World for the great-grandson. LV definitely gets most of our travel / play funds. Wouldn't have it any other way either. :)

It varies by year, but usually for sure, 5 LAS trips. Then maybe AZ, for Spring Training and San Diego maybe for 4 nights for extra trips. We did Seattle three years in a row and then took a break. Maybe Seattle again in 2017.

I think we've slimmed it back to 2 vegas trips per year.. but next year well probably up it to 3..we do reno and tahoe and San Diego plenty though. (I think my wife has drove to SD 7 times already, since January 1st)
Reno 3 times and tahoe I think 4 times.

At two Vegas trips per year, on average, I'd say my Vegas/other ratio is about 1 to 3 each year.

Vegas 2x/year...mandatory. Other than that it's 2 other trips, one is usually a cruise and the other a US city or Europe.

Extend a business trip for leisure 1x/year
I used to go to Vegas between 6 and 10x/year a few years ago

We take two week-long family vacations a year. For the kids' spring break, we do our big trip, to a distant land, cruise, etc. This year we went to Japan. Then one week every summer, we all get in the car and drive to Vegas.
My wife and I usually get to Vegas at least once more per year, for about 3 days, while we leave the kids with grandma and grandpa.

Since it's a minimum 10hour flight just the once per year. But at least four other European countries/resorts per year. I don't count overnighters in that has to be at least three days.

I have been going to Vegas 4 to 6 times a year for the past 10 years. I travel to Michigan to see my parents (both in their 90's and live independently) twice a year. That consists of my vacation travels for the past several years; which will take a dramatic change when I retire next June...plan to do a lot of traveling around the country and elsewhere. Planning a 12 day canoe trip in Canada's NorthWest Territories to celebrate my retirement next year...Artic wolves, musk oxen, grizzlies, caribou, basking under the Tundra sun.... and lots of fishing for graylings.

Different answer here. 2-3 times per year to LAS and another 2-3 times to Biloxi. Beach and mountains are a thing of the past. I could call Biloxi a beach trip and Cherokee a mountain trip, I guess. :) Beside, it kills me to pay for a hotel room now. I know I've already "paid" for it, but still!

Vegas has become the day-after-school-is-out trip for us, so it's basically, at minimum, a once per year visit. There's sooooo many places we want to go.

We've been seriously bit by the Vegas bug...Used to be Disneyland and Disney World every two to three years with the children, but as they've grown up and moved on, we've turned the Disney dollars into four trips to Vegas a year and other destinations to one every other year. 8:1 seems about right.

I only go to vegas or laughlin. They are just the most affordable options and have everything I am looking for.

Vegas is my most visited place during the year. My wife is happy with just a family holiday every year. We usually go somewhere in Europe except last year when we did the whole Orlando thing.

My ratio has definitely changed in the past couple of years - it used to be mostly Vegas, these days it's about 2 Vegas trips and 4 other trips per year.
