So my wife and I are thinking of a trip to Vegas during the third week of March, and we were wondering what the daytime high temperatures are in late March. My wife is a pool person...are the hotel pools open in late March? Thanks for the help!

Temperatures can get up to the mid 70s in late March.
Most pools should be open by then, at some hotels the pools are open all year.

They'll be open in March but IMO, mid 70's is too cool in the desert to be laying out at the pool. I grew up lin Seattle and did a lot of waterskiing out there so I'm not FL spoiled when it comes to temp's but it's just too chilly to stay out there for any length of time if you ask me....unless you want to wear clothes:thumbsdown: Mid April on, you should be good.

    Pools start opening around mid-March.

We have been to Vegas many times in March. It has been nice and High 70's, low 80's, and we have spent plenty of time by the pool. Two years ago it was cold and Rainy in Vegas and was 70 degrees here in MN... bring your swimsuits.. and a Sweatshirt ;)

Total crap shoot that time of year. I have 30 years of attending March Maddness during the 3rd week and it can be fantastic for the pool or terrible. Most of the time you get at least 1 decent day. Best of luck and may the Farmers Almanac be correct as we are suppose to get an early warm spring this year.
