Ok, let me first say I'm aware of the Linq/Quad/Gansevoort mess, which is why I'm wary of anything between Harrah's and Bally's.

But what about INTERIOR construction? Again, I know the Quad is still renovating the interior, but I also heard the Mirage was undergoing some interior "redecoration".

Any other places with construction going on inside?

MGM - They were happily jack-hammering the interior concrete floors in the S/W corner of the casino 3 weeks ago. The noise was so loud, that I could hardly hear my slot machine close by.
Some concrete chips would hit the safety screen, and I saw a few people covering their ears as they walked by.

Hopefully they are done with all that noise by now!

Wow, thanks Smo! That's the kind of intel I was looking for. If I'm staying at Bally's and make a trek to the Grand I certainly would hate to arrive to that.

Looking at Google Earth it seems to be related to Hakkasan maybe?

Just returned from Mirage. Saw zero construction. They do have the area near the bridge/front desk walled off for the new Heritage Steakhouse, but did not hear any construction.

You are correct! It's some restaurant/night club thingy going in there. :rolleyes2:

I bet by the time you get there, the jack hammers will be gone. You couldn't hear them throughout the whole casino though; that place goes on forever!

Mandalay Bay several of it's restaurants and the nightclub under construction. I know more stuff is happening soon, but I don't know when.

Mirage is also getting a new steakhouse, I vaguely remember them working on something else. But overall nothing bothered me at either property. It's not in the way or anything.

I knew Mirage was redoing Kokomos. Thanks for the info about MB.

With all the hype surrounding the casino EXTERIORS not much has been said about the INTERIORS, where I plan on spending most my time, so I was curious.
