We're going to this MSS tailgate party before the UH-UNLV game. Free beer, soda and pupus. I goggled pupus and it looks like it could be anything as an appetizer. Is that correct?

Ha! This makes me laugh. Last year we were on our way to Germaine's Luau and our "cousin" in the bus told us all about "pupu" and also..."pipi" - I think "pipi" is Hawaiian for dessert? I might be wrong but it was hilarious. He said that nobody probably expected going to a Hawaiian luau to eat "pupu" and "pipi" :kill:

actually pupus can be anything from simple appetizers to big meals. usually pupus are finger food type of things, stuff you eat on small plates but they can also be things like fried chicken or steak or kal bi (highly recommended). it all depends what MSS offers.

One thing to note is that because a lot of hawaii people will be up there for the game the good should be "ono" (good) and not the fakey food you find in the "imitation" hawaiian luaus or parties.
