For those of you who use e-cigs - are there any shops on the strip where I can get extra tanks if mine poops out mid-trip? We are staying at Palazzo.

Mine has been acting funny lately and I usually order online. I don't have time for that and I'm working so much until Saturday when I leave I won't have a chance to go to one at home (nearest one is like 35 minutes away) and I don't have any extra.

I'm talking about a place I can get an iclear 16 or similar tank to fit on my iTaste MVP battery or my smaller ego-style backup batteries. I'll freak out if I can't vape in Vegas and I don't want to be tempted to smoke analogs because its been 3 years!

    Thank you in advance!

There is a vape shop in a kiosk near Bally's, but that's the only one I've seen on The Strip. I haven't looked lately though, so maybe more are popping up.

They have the cart/kiosks inside of fashion show mall- looked like they sold everything on those! A very quick walk from Palazzo!

Have you considered going online and ordering a new tank/coils to arrive in your mailbox before you depart? I've used MistHub.com in the past with no issues.

I'll check it out, I leave 6am Saturday morning. Thanks so much for the suggestions! It's Vegas right, you figure I could find anything there! I've just never noticed before because I always have my own supplies. Work has kept me way to busy to do much else lately. I NEED this trip!

3 years vaping and you are still using an iClear 16? That's pretty damn impressive!

I don't know much about this topic, but I did see a kiosk at the Linq shopping area somewhere near tilted kilt.

No I use a kanger pro tank but iclears are cheap and disposable, good enough until I get home and can order another glass tank

I'm not sure why 3 yrs on the iClear is impressive. Our local shop is always trying to get me to upgrade from my Kanger evod, but if it isn't broken, why fix it? :)

In my experience all those cheaper smaller tanks just sucked for me and didn't get the job done. I was constantly going through coils, the tanks didn't hold enough juice, would be empty in like 2 hours, and the smaller batteries sucked as well. Also the vapor sucked and it just wasn't doing the job and I found myself giving up on a night out and went to smoking regular cigarettes. This lasted for about a year.

Then in March I did some research and bought myself a little more advanced setup. I got a subtank mini tank with a kbox battery. The difference was night and day. I no longer have to buy coils since I can build my own, the tank holds a lot more juice and the battery can last me pretty much all day. Since I bought this setup I haven't had a single cigarette in a littler over 6 months.

But like you said if it isn't broke why fix it, if it's working for you that's great. I've had some friends that tried to quit using those smaller pen type setups and told me they just don't work. Once I told them to buy a better setup they've been cig free as well.

    This.
Casinos are the only place I smoke these days.
Something about drinking & gambling that triggers the smoking-combination-pleasure endorphin!
I bring packs with me & give away the left-overs to other players just before I leave for McCarran.

In any event, I know that I've seen a vape-supply kiosk on the Fremont canopy/freak-show walkway. I have no idea what they carry though.
I switched from an Ego/cartridge setup, to a tank, and finally to MarkTen XLs & Vuse.
Love the MarkTens! Convenient, good hearty vape, & it actually "feels" & "sounds" like smoking a cigarette.
Those are available everywhere. I'd use that as back-up.

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!

Good to know, dfalk. I do hate how fast I go through the coils. I'm not a heavy vaper, so one lasts me a few days.

Ya that can get expensive real quick. I bought 500 feet of kanthal wire and a bag of organic cotton for less then $10. At the rate I'm going through it I have enough material to build coils for a good 2+ years.

I smoked for 30+ years and tried to quit a couple of times. It really sucked until I got into vaping. I started with the eciggs. They just didn't cut it for me. Then went to the small rechargeable ones with juice. These are where my cravings really started to go away, but didn't like the run time from the little rechargeables.
I finally stepped up to a Vapor Flask and I am totally satisfied. I can now keep spare batteries with me and don't have to worry about being without my fix. The taste is so much better and can change up flavors too.
I never thought I would say that I much prefer vaping to cigarettes!!!

somebody walk me through this Mod..first time I'm trying a tank
vs my go-to 510 automatic battery abd self filled cartomizers

can't for the life of me get it to either stop sputtering or have such an easy draw that I mostly get air or with vent closed not enough vapor or "throat hit"

their support # closes at noon PST, so I'm forever calling a recording

    Hobofrank,
Wish I could help you but I'm still a newbie to all this stuff. You might search some vaping forums for your answers.
I'm assuming you are using the VEA Elite with the Canteen tank?
I am using an Aspire Triton. It has an upper vent which I close off for full draw. I run the bottom vent fully open to get maximum fluid.
Mine does gurrgle but just a bit.
You might make sure that the tank is sealing good on the o rings and the coil is tight in the tank.
I also generally run full wattage (40).

I seem to remember a lot of the souvenir shops selling vape stuff over Labor Day.
    Numerous kiosks too.

Make sure the coil is scrwed on tightly to the base, if it's not juice will leak down into the air flow chamber and give you the sputtering.

Check the wicking mateial and make sure it's flush with the holes on both sides. If it got pushed in excess juice will flood the coil.

How many watts is your battery set at? If it's not turned up high enough you won't get a lot of vapor or the throat hit.
