    Aria vs. Hooters.

The specs: Aria 159 a night with a 100 dollar food credit and express comps to cover the resort fee
    OR

Hooters: 39.50 special offer plus 11 dollar resort fee.

    1 night only

With the food credit I would definitely stay at Aria. Great location on the strip and much nicer room overall.

jhpa- Does that mean you're firmly in the Hooters camp?

I dunno. You know your friend better than we do. Do they need luxury or would they be more satisfied saving a buck?

I don't know what the rooms are like at Hooters, but if it is anything like the casino, and if the service is the same, not sure I would stay there even for free. At approx $50/nite (incl rf), I am quite confident I can get something MUCH better for the same or less.

Hooters was terrible. In every way. It's not even supposed to be there anymore. Meanwhile, that's about the best deal he's going to get at Aria for a paying customer. I'm staying there in a week for 1 night for $99, of course after the fee and tax it's more like $140, but the $100 credit eases that pain a lot.

    Aria all the way.

Hooters skeeved me out! Just walking through the casino, my shoes were sticking to the floor. Filthy place. From the reviews I have read, I would not stay at Hooters if it were free. Meanwhile, Aria is a class act. So you are talking about maybe $20 more to stay at Aria? No contest. $20 is one point seven out on a craps table.

I really thought you were kidding

Assuming you are asking which is better. As others have said, Aria. To clarify the offer, it is $159 plus resort fee. They give you $100 back in food credit.

Curious though. Would somebody really go to Vegas for only one night?

Considering the food comp at Aria

It essentially makes the difference in price $10--and these 2 properties are MUCH farther apart in class than that!
BUT you have to stay 2 nights to take advantage of the Aria deal...

Pinkie promise...a real question. It was a debate because of the fact it is only one night. And I don't know much about Hooters at all. Ive never been in even the casino part.

Guess I am still amazed somebody would go to Vegas for one night.

By the way, depending on the dates, you might be able to find great offers at other casinos, like Paris or so many others right on the strip.

    ARIA

I have not stayed at either. But I have visited both.

This is the old San Remo, and it is still the old San Remo with a different name. Your friends might be accosted by the condo sellers that are parked in the lobby or the whatever furniture etc they might be selling in the lobby.

If there are any young, attractive Hooters girls there I have no idea, I never saw one.

The possible only draw at Hooters for me was Dan Marino's Steakhouse, but it closed.

Aria all the way, unless money is that tight then there has to be lots of places to stay at 40 bucks per night.

Having just stayed at Aria a few months back, Aria hands down. Hooters reminds me of a high rise motel 6....

However, vegas for 1 day....WOW thats different..!!!!!
