So I've only been downtown once in 30 some Vegas trips. My one time downtown I just played BJ at golden gate. I played for several hours at $50/hand. I now get mailers for 4 nights with $50 free play and $25 food. I really don't want to stay at the golden gate. My question is, can I reach out to a host at the d with any chance of them offering me a room comp?

Probably, since they're both owned by Derek Stevens.

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

All of the hosts work for both the GG, and The D. So I don't think it'd be a big deal to move it over to The D. But, from the sounds of it, if you can get a suite at GG go for it. They're supposed to be pretty nice from what people in here have said.
