So the American Casino Guide includes a coupon to receive $5 in free play for every 50 points earned (maximum of $100 free play) at The D Las Vegas.

I plan to take advantage of the coupon and want to make sure my math is right.

    According to VPfree
    $10 VP in = 1 point,
$500 coin in = $5 freeplay with coupon
    $5000 coin in = $100 freeplay

Has anyone taken advantage of the coupon and is my math correct?

    Cheers

If $500 coin in = $5 freeplay, then
    $10,000 coin in = $100 freeplay.

So it's adding 1% to the base game effectively.

I don't have the latest ACG book, but you might need to check in with the players club desk first. I ran into a problem with a similar LVA coupon where I discovered after the fact that I needed to present the coupon prior to earning the points. Oops.

    Right you are, Sabre ....
    50 points x $10 coin-in / per point = $500 coin-in to get first $5 free-play.

    You would then need to do this 20 times over, to max out the $100 free-play ... needing $500 coin-in x 20 ... thereby requiring $10,000 coin-in.

$10,000 coin-in for VP. You have to take the coupon to the player's club desk BEFORE you begin. (Otherwise, anything you earned before that time won't count toward your free play.) At that point, you have the next 24 hours to earn the points. I used the coupon in November right after the book was issued. Worked out great for me. Good luck and enjoy!

Hey thanks for the information and correcting my calculations, don't drink and crunch numbers.

I figure I will devote a days play to the D, since this will be a small extra bonus. I will most likely shoot for $5k coin in. I will report on results in my TR.

I will also try to get a comp to the D grill.

    Cheers

My husband and I have done this promo four times so far (in 2013). Twice with the LVA coupon and twice because new sign-ups will also get the same deal. So if you are a new sign-up, save your coupon for another time.

It took us three hours to earn that $100 free play, both of us playing on the same player's card, at 50 cent NSU.

It has been a great promotion for us and we will do it again in 2014! Since we played there, they send us great mailers with free play, match plays, free food & shows, free rooms.

    Good luck to you!

Yes, McGoo...two slant tops right next to the bar by the door upstairs. Coin droppers. One has sound and one does not. I think on the other side of the bank there might be another one, but it's a multi-denom and might even drop nickels (heaven forbid!).
