    I'm not Seven star, but...

I was reading that one of the benefits is complementary room with 48 hours notice, I feel like its silly because if you are 7 star wont your play already be high enough to have as many free nights as you would like? is this something different than normal comped nights?

Also the "Upgrade to best available room at check-in" can that get you upgraded to a suite?

Well, here is the thing - what the 48 hour notice means is that even if the resort is completely sold out, you are guaranteed to get a room, Even if it means kicking out a paying customer or lower comped level (gold/plat/diamond).

And yes, you can of course be upgraded to a suite.

Remember though, the level of room you receive will be based on your play levels. With the current bonus tier point structure it is not that hard to achieve 7Star if you have a CET casino near you and you know how to do it.

the level is based on your play and not the best available? so if you are 7 star and your play sucks. Lets say you have $100 ADT (not sure how thats possible for 7 star) then you would be given a crap room?

If a hotel is sold out, a 7 Star player may not be able to get a room. The benefits state .....where available. Comps are still based on play. If you upgrade to a large suite, your back end comps will be affected if you don't have the play to support the suite.
For me, I don't spend a lot of time in the room. When I'm on my own, I'll take a jr suite. If I'm there with someone and extra space is important, I'll get a larger suite.

Not all 7 Star players are big players. There are a lot of 7 Star players who are frequency players in their local CET casino.

Agreed. But, I think the ADT level is the most important factor. The upgrade to Best Available is based on ADT. If your ADT dictates a Comp room, you get a better tower or a higher floor, better view, etc. If available. You dont automatically get the Best Suite open in the hotel just because you are 7 star. If your ADT is suite worthy, they will give you less F and B in the end over a room upgrade which will be the same comp allowance from one room to another room on a higher floor, etc., I think.

I reserve the right to be incorrect, LOL

The following is a hypothetical scenario which happens a lot in real life...... Player has been 7 Stars for a few years now. Lives near a local CET casino that he goes to a few times a week only to use the benefits and not gamble. The local casino gives 7 Stars 2 free buffets per day. He earned 7 Stars status on 8/5 Bonus Poker which returns 99.2%....and luckily last year he broke even on Video Poker. He always uses his annual trip and aspiration trip and never gambles at all on those trips. His hosts hate him and regularly ignore him. He sometimes has to email a higher up person just to get his guaranteed annual trips booked. His local casino used to give him weekly free play and a food credit, but he would redeem them both and not gamble until they cut off all his free play and food credits. His calendar rates hardly have any comp nights at all. He always get the lowest category room when he books any hotel. His ADT is in the low double digits.

I earned 90k TCs in 4 short play sessions. It was nothing and that's more than half way to 7 stars.

7 star doesn't mean you're actually a big player that can pull a suite last minute whenever you want.

Also upgrade is very subjective. It could mean a higher floor, a strip view, that one room at the end of the hall that has 50 extra square feet. Or it could be upgrading from a standard room to a Jr. Suite. Still, all based on your ADT.

Up until the middle of last year I could have told you how to become a 7 Star with a $10 ADT if you made a three week trip to Chicago and play quick for six hours a day. And $50 ADT at the Rio for 3-4 hours a day.

They got downgraded from their 99.96% paybacks last year though. :(

Of course having a big bankroll was a must on either game.

And if course like others say, they will treat you accordingly by ADT.

You asked about the 48 hour notice and upgrades, and I don't know how things work for 7 stars, but when I look at the Diamond 2 level I see that you get 4 comp nights. People ask what's the point of that?

Caesars will give me 5 comped nights based on ADT. I go twice a year and stay 7 nights and pay for 2 nights each time. If I reach Diamond 2, I don;t have to pay for those nights anymore.

    Come on folks.

Top rule is your play. Not your level.

Upgrades can be anything from view to suite.

If they do not have any suites, they can not give them to you.

Many of these "perks" are just marketing stuff. Like the 4 nights at Diamond 2. Best available is just two words. And the word AVAILABLE has lots of secret meanings.

thats crazy, I guess I never really thought about people like that. I would feel really awkward just milking my benefits and not playing.

because 7 star is invitation only, why dont they kick people out who do stuff like that? or is it the kind of thing that once your in, your in (like the union working for the government)

i dont know any 7* players who have had it taken away but I seen it happen to several diamond players...they would go to the diamond lounge in new orleans when drinks and food where unlimited, it had the small self serve buffet at the time. they would eat and drink all day but never see them playing...they got a few players cards and would ask someone not using a card if they would play on their card...when the casino found out they took their cards and to this day I never seen them people in there again

as for 7* by invitation. once you make 150k tier credits, they will check to see if you have had any incidents in the casino where you had security come or where asked to leave and then they check to see if you owe them any outstanding markers...they say it could take 30 days for them to check, I made my 7^ and went to total rewards and asked for my new card, guy said it will be ready tomorrow and it was just like he said

the fact that they allow people to abuse the tier reward system is a good reason as to why they are in such a huge pile of debt that they can never recover from

I think a lot of local CET casinos have that person. However, they have to be gambling some days or else they wouldn't have made the 150K tier credits.

They weren't that bad at Rio...but yeah, you can still get 7* and have a $100 ADT...trust me.

according to vpfree2 the rio 9/6 JoB all require $25 coin in per TC,

assuming $2500TC/day that would be $125,000 coin in per day, that would be $125000*(0.5%)=$625/day assuming you do this for 20 days. this would be the most optimal way to hit 7*, how do you get a $100 ADT?

I didn't say "optimal", I just said it was possible.
If you played 75 days per year, and played $10k coin-in, to get 1000+1000TC, your ADT would be $100.
There are better machines at Rio, btw...

Are you referring to Diamond Level 2 aspirations Trip for 4 free nights? That comes with an Airfare credit up to $700, I think, so more than just the free nights. I don't know if you can combine the 4 nights with an additional 5 nights but if your ADT warrants, I think a host can put you up for 9 nights. I know that a host told me that I could stay for 7 one time, when I went to Vegas unexpectedly one time with a prebooking on Comp. I wasn't ready to leave and since I was in a property on a comp, the site would not let me book another comp night without a break in between offers. It was early in the comp game for me, so I just booked another CET night on Hotels.com and paid for it, no biggie, I didn't pay any resort fee when I checked in as I was Diamond at the time. Anyway, a host told me not to do that again, he could have kept me there for a week if I had called him, so I don't think the total number of nights is so closed off.
