If I'm understanding you correctly there are two things that can happen when using your MLIFE. I'm MLIFE platinum and if I buy MGM Resort tickets I get a discount if I use my card. My last trip I bought one ticket at the KA box office and charged the ticket to my room and presented my platinum card and got about $50 dollars off the price because of my card. If I had gone through the MLIFE players club and had them do it I would have had the full amount taken out of my express comps. The ticket was comped off when I checked out but if I had paid for it, it would have given me tier credits. I think it's something like 25 tier credits for each $1 spent.

If I wasnt in such a damn rush I would have taken the time to read what I wrote LOL...

I am staying with CET this stay but I am going to check out a show at Luxor (carrottop) and I want to either get free tickets and or get tier points if I have to pay for them. I guess my main question is if I pay 50 bucks say a piece for them, is it the same as putting 50 bucks in a slot machine or no ?

    Thanks everyone

I took this from the MLIFE site:

"You earn Tier Credits for virtually every dollar you spend - including gaming - across all our M life resorts. For every dollar you spend on your hotel stay, dining, entertainment, or spa you earn Tier Credits - in Las Vegas you earn 25 Tier Credits; at Beau Rivage, Gold Strike Tunica, and MGM Grand Detroit you earn 8 Tier Credits.

For slot play in Las Vegas M life casinos, you receive 10 Tier Credits for every $2 of coin-in on reel and video slot machines or $10 of coin-in on video poker and specialty games."

When I do math I have to admit I panic so forgive me if I'm mistaken but I would say that $50 paid for a ticket at the Luxor for Carrot Top would amount to 1,250 tier credits. $50 through a machine would equal 250 tier credits. Buying the ticket gets you more tier credits than running the same amount through a machine given you lose the entire $50 without winning and reinvesting. I'm not sure how you would get them free unless you have express comps. I hope this is the info you were after.
