    Trips to Las Vegas:
We are staying four nights at NYNY next month and used a promo code to get a $50 bar credit & 2 rollercoaster tickets. I have been playing MyVegas and would like to comp the first two nights (weeknights) using MyVegas points. I have never purchased anything with loyalty points before and have a couple questions.

If I cancel the first two nights (Wednesday and Thursday night) to re-book them with MyVegas points; will they try to charge me the new rate (now $92 more total) for the two weekend nights?
Will they still allow me to use the promo code for Friday and Saturday night?

    Thanks for all your help.

I'm going to do something similar later this year, but my MyVegas dates will be on the tail end of my trip.

I would go ahead and reserve the MyVegas rooms then call NYNY after you've got confirmation that those nights are reserved. When you call NYNY tell them you want to remove the first 2 nights of your reservation. They SHOULD accommodate you and change your check in date for your regular reservation to the new dates without changing the other nights rates, unless there are some restrictions in the promo code that you used.

Purchase the myvegas reward, call the number and see if it is available. Tell them you will call them back.
Call the reservation desk and ask if you can remove a couple nights off your reservation, then you will know for sure. If yes, do it right then and there.
Call back the myvegas number and book the nights.

I don't know if they will partially remove nights, never asked. Would be nice to hear some personal insight from some who has tried.
