Was in Vegas last week, and at the RTC stops was a posting saying 2hr $6 and 24hr $8 effective September 30th, 2012. Thats a $1 increase on each.

Just FYI as they require exact change.

Also "exact change" can include the dollar coin if that is more convenient currency when boarding buses that have the driver collect fares.
A credit card can puchase passes as well at the vending machines. You need to puchase the pass ahead of time for the SDX.

Might as well get the 24 hour for only $2.00 more.

I realize the rip off bus fares are just to take advantage of the tourists that

have little choice to pay or do an awful lot more walking.

we left our car at riviera last trip and we cabbed back to riviera from bally`s for $13 which is only a dollar more than the bus would cost.

Ahh, Good point to remember for folks traveling with their spouse or SO and/or family. Bus, shuttles, monorail are per person so while some may be more economical than a taxi for someone solo, a taxi or even limo can be cheaper with several people. Like most everything else you will do or see in LV there are many choices which will differ for each of us.........cost, convenience, time involved, and value just to name a few.
