I will probably use this limo service for a trip in October and I was wondering, do they charge your cc for the RT airport special when you book OR when you arrive and take the limo? Not a big deal, but would like to know when they actually charge your card.
    Thanks!

First of all Presidential is awesome. Secondly, I hate having hold on cc's so I generally have them charge everything in advance, thus alleviating the hold. They'll do this if you ask them and send a receipt via e-mail.

I did have Presidential reserved and they immediately charged my card. They didn't even ask, it just showed up. When I decided to rent a car it was a very long time (four calls and several weeks) before I received my refund. $106 round trip.

They've charged my card when I've booked and we've used it twice this yr.

They charge when you book. If you cancel, you have to ask for a refund. I had to cancel on very short notice (like 20 mins) once, and the woman I spoke to kind of tentatively said I could ask for a refund (because I was sick), but I didn't. I think if you cancel at least 24 hrs ahead, you'll have no problem getting a refund, but you'll have to ask for it, and it may not be fast.

So it looks like I would be best served by making my reservation a few days in advance instead of a month early as I had previously planned.
