Wife and I are heading for 5 nights in about 10 days. We are staying at the southern end of the strip again for the second time. The first time we stayed at the Four Seasons and now we are staying at The Hotel due to some comps. Typically, we go in the Fall or the Spring but the grandparents agreed to watch the kids so we threw caution to wind and booked our flights. Last time we were in Vegas in the Summer, five years ago, we got food poisoning and it sucked big time.

We are not much planners, but we know we are going to do the following:

    1. Hit Fleur for lunch when we arrive in the afternoon (tradition).
    2. Have reservations to L'Atelier (new)
    3. Reserved tickets to Zarkana (new)
    4. Will hit R & M Seafood's Raw Bar (tradition)
    5. I will play double deck blackjack at MB and Aria (tradition)
    6. Both get a massage at the spa (tradition)
    7. Hit Todd English's pub for happy hour (tradition)
    8. Checkout the view at Mix (never have done that before).
    9. Go to the Trop so the wife can play low limit blackjack. She likes the vibe of the Trop (tradition)
    10. Wife will hit the high end shops and I cry when I see the bills (tradition)
    11. Drink.

We will hit other restaurants but usually we figure we we get there. We are wanderers.

Mix is one of our traditions! I could go there everynight and probably not get tired of it. The vibe is just right for us (39 yrs old) the drink prices are fair, and the view just compliments it all very nicely.

We like Mix too and had planned to swing by after seeing the late show of MJ "One" during our July trip. The line to go up at that time on a Saturday night was a deal-breaker. Have never had any issues with getting a nice view seat at Mix at dusk, though.

We are looking forward to going to Mix. We have been to the Foundation Room and love the view.
