power adaptor. Where and what to buy?

    Since Norway is 220-240VAC, you may need a power converter (step up) as well as a plug adapter.

    Look at the power adapter or appliance that you have/want to use and if it specifies 110-240, you don't need a power converter, just a plug adapter similar to this:

    A local travel shop should carry that item.

    Do you need to change the voltage or the socket? Check the devices that you are bringing. A PC or phone charger can probably work fine at 110V 60 Hz. You may have problems with hair dryers. What Dai Lun showed will work assuming you don't need a voltage change.
