After my last trip in Dec with DW I had to tell her there are things I want to do in Vegas she just does not want to do.
Since I have so much fun with her I don't get around to doing them.
So I told her for my Birthday I wanted airfare to Vegas alone.

Well I open my card tlast night and she and the kids (Grown) had gifted me 350$ to be used for airfare.

Now I am of 3 minds as I have 3 basic options out of MSP.

1 Spirit ( get in at 11PM leave at 12:05 AM) less time in Vegas

2 sun country maybe a bit more but better flight times and more choice.

3 South west Now this APPEARS to be a winner to me.
First you get free bags so that makes it cost competitive as I wll be check 1 bag each way .
Also if I have to cancel or find a cheaper flight I can get a credit, good for a year.
No it appears the other two do not have this feature.

However, the first two are non stop and if I fly SW I would have a stop.

Now the idea for breaking up the ride/ sit time sounds kind of nice as long as I do not fly out of the way .

If you do not change planes can you get off?

If you do change planes does anyone have any reports on the Denver airport?

Seem the free bags and the choice of flight times and ability to cancel FAR outweigh a stop over in Den.

    Your input is appreciated :)

Non-stop is more important to me than paying for bags. YMMV...
But if the price was right, I could be persuaded to make 1 stop.

If you don't change planes, you can still get off.

Can't speak for SW's concourse, but the United Concourse in Denver is nice enough. The airport is pretty new, for airports, and I consider it nice. Way better than O'hare or Dallas.

No Delta? Sun Country is good but their times and dates donot allways work for us. Never tryed Sprint, but have looked at them in the past. S.W. is new there, but I do not the stops, wast of time,

My trip later this month is my 6th since nov 2010. 4th on Delta and 2 on Sun Country so far. Price wise and time wise- pretty similar.

The only major difference is the terminal situation. Humhprey or Main in MSP and now Sun Country flys into terminal 3 in LAS
