This horse is being beaten enough in the other thread, but lets get some numbers. No need to comment, just yes or no, or #3.

    1. Yes, I tip the attendant on a handpay.

    2. No, I don't.

    3. I never had one to know the answer.

You work for the guvmint, Joe? Why black/white?

My vote is none of the above. I let circumstances dictate. If a floor person has provided some courtesy and service, I tip them, hand pay or not. If someone walks my money out to me and I've never seen him or her -- actually, usually it is them -- in my life, then the answer is no.

(Pssst, nice job keeping the pot boiling, too, my friend!!)

Yes, I wanted to see some percentages. No need for comments, there is enough of that in the other thread.

Agree with circumstances but maybe $20 if they are nice but really I already have to pay taxes and I was the only one risking anything so not much at all.

The first couple of times, I paid 1%, but now that seems like too much. I give 0.5% and if they seem at all dissatisfied with that, I play somewhere else.

I voted the last one because it's the truth. :( But I likely tip if I ever get one.

Sadly, the results of somewhat suspect.
After all, even a $1 tipper would fit into the YES category.

    (and the $1,000 tipper)

I've only ever had one ($800 on a $1000 win at an old-style coin-in, coin-out 3-reel machine in Tahoe). I did not tip.
But waaaaay back in the day, when I used to play slots every now and then, I would tip the 'change girl' (remember those?) if she steered me to a machine that ended up giving me a $100 or more win. I usually gave her $2 if that happened.
