I don't know the last time the card player site was updates but it is off.
A glance at AVP (http://www.pokeratlas.com/poker-tournaments/las-vegas-nevada/upcoming) looks more accurate--I know it can be off, too.
But the graphics are new since I looked at it in July so I'd say it is fairly accurate.
I have Bravo Poker as well the AVP apps loaded on my phone for great reference when I am in Vegas.

Thanks KKB. Are those daily lower buyins worth the time? Looking primarily at Flamingo and Linq. Thanks for any input?

Most of the low level daily tourneys are glorified sit and go's, assuming there's enough people to start in the first place. The blind structure is crazy fast, so you're looking at all in/fold decisions after a handful of levels.

They're cheap however, and you're not having to invest much time. They're often fun and relaxed.

Based on what I saw this summer (was there a week) Linq has a hard time getting a tourney going...but for the price I enjoy it. Flamingo skips the 25/50 blind, I think & are 15 min. blinds, so not a fan, Maybe 1-2 tables.
I like Mirage, PH, Harrahs & TI for lower end tourneys. I don't play with 15 min. blinds & starting stacks less than 5K.
Aria is my go to for midrange, tho Bellagio, Wynn & Venetian have similar ones. They are all 30 min. blinds and 10K+ starting stack. These are LONG tourneys--expect 8-10 hours to cash.

Thanks for the info as well....I've played plenty of Hold 'em, but I've wanted to try a tourney as well....since I'm at the Mirage, I'll try it out!

Hmmm. Not really looking for solid play as I'm there for a convention and would really just like to spend a couple hours, cash, and run. Maybe Linq or PH or Flamingo?

I did the 1PM PH $80 daily on my last trip. Has a $1500 guarantee with roughly 20 entries. According to the dealers, that's either average, or a little lower than normal. It finished by 4, if I remember correctly. KBB already mentioned it, but anything above that requires serious time if you run deep.

Get the Bravo poker app (available on iPhone and Droid). Has all the info. Good luck!
