No it doesn't. It does have a bar and normally music playing. The water is not heated.

There are chairs, fake grass, a bar, music and towel service.

This is one of the areas were there is potential for The Plaza to up their game downtown.

Still worth a visit if staying at the Plaza.

No security on entry but current room key required.

One of the great mysteries for me is the neglect of the Plaza pool area. Large area that could be reno'd to grab some of the pool crowds in the downtown market. As it is, grungy, cheap, and bad service.

With a good sports bar and nicely reno'd rooms.....it seems the Plaza is missing the younger demo that would enjoy a decent pool area.

Ditto times 1,000. This is an excellent opportunity for the Plaza to further improve their property.

That's all I need .....is another LOUD thumpin' music - Party Pool.
I like to relax at the pool - read, listen to the wind blowing + overhead planes -
I get enough of the blaring music + party crowd in the casino + bars.
Give my ears a break !.........of course, if i won a crapload of $$$ - Who'd care !!!

I hear you on that Joe. Next trip I'm brining these cheap industrial earphone. No wires or batteries to replace, just noise reduction. I tried it on the airplane and it worked great.

This price is very high. If you have a Harbor Freight just watch their coupons. It will be from $3 to $7 tops.
For quiet and a heated pool I like the Gold Coast. Plenty of semi shade too for a bit of relaxed sit or read. Never crowded in the morning.
