For those of you familiar with the Plaza, are you aware of adjoining rooms in the South Tower? Specifically looking for the 2Q/2Q combo. I know these are available in the North Tower as I stayed there last year, but would prefer the South this time.

I'll be there on a comp this upcoming weekend with a group of friends and we like to get those rooms when possible.

Virtually every room I have stayed in at the Plaza in the South Tower has a connecting door. The problem obviously is that they aren't going to hold those rooms for you until you arrive so checking in or waiting for two QQ connects might be tougher than it would seem. If you have a host I do believe they can hold specific rooms for you.

Yes, you are correct. Connecting is the proper term.

I don't have a host there, but that's a great thought about them being able to hold specific rooms.

I know that they have them (connecting/adjoining rooms), but I haven't actually done that at the Plaza.
I've done it at the Fremont though... not when booking, but when we checked-in, we told them that we wanted adjoining rooms, and they said it would be an hour or two before they could do that...and we told them that would be fine...checked our bags with the bellman & started gambling... these were both comped rooms, but I doubt that would make any difference.
Perhaps you should touch base with Gary (who posts here as 'plaza-poker')

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!
