I just received an email offer from the Plaza and logged into the Player's Club and it said I had a free 3 night offer. It said something to the affect that you needed 200 points per day to get this. So if I don't achieve the 200 points per day do they bill me if I book the offer? Is there a catch?
    :confused2:

I've seen that mention here in the past. Other than 200 points a day, which isn't hard to do, I don't believe there's a catch.
I guess they can charge your credit card if you don't do 200 points a day.

    Love your avatar Ty..
Anyways, for VP the 200 points equals $600 coin in. Not sure if slots are the same or if they are at a different rate... We stayed there 2 nights at Christmas and my wife and I both did the $600 very easily playing VP. The Plaza now has very playable paytables for BP, 8/5. I believe the JOB was 9/6, but not sure. I don't play DDB so I can't comment on that table

Thanks for the feedback. So it looks like there are strings attached to this offer. It's only free if you earn 200 points per day then. The offers I get from other casinos are unconditional.

I had the same concerns, which is why I decided not to book the offer. I'd rather buy the rooms outright at $100/nt then potentially pay a lot more if I lose very badly. . I also don't like feeling tethered to one casino as far as my gambling dollars are concerned.

They're sort of conditional as in if you don't give the casino giving you a room any play you won't see any new offers from there. I know you don't run the risk of getting charged if you don't play at most places but don't expect future comps if you no play them.

Good thing (other than March 20-22nd) you don't have to worry about paying $100 night at the Plaza. Weeknights are running 39-49 so "free" or pay sounds like a winner. I'm gonna check my P O box today to see if they have sent me something. I stayed there 6/7 years ago on a comp and got what I expected. From everything that I have been hearing, they have taken great strides to fixing the place/rooms up. Last year they sent me an offer but i didn't take a 2nd look at it. Might be worth a gander this time. They would probably get decent play from me whether I stayed or not as long as their VP is good since I'm booked at MSS from March 18th-20Th (unless CET comes through with my annual "Hoops on the Strip" offer), so Plaza may just work.
