So I'm in vegas for 5 days. 3 days at the Mirage and 2 days at the Cosmo.

I like the Mirage but am trying to move out of Mlife properties to Cosmo/Wynn for future trips. I'm trying to play in a way to get discounted rates/comps at the cosmo or Wynn.

I figured since I am staying at Cosmo only 2 days of the 5, I can stack most of my play on these 2 days i thats best. Which place is easier to get comps? I'm assuming Cosmo since I am staying there?

Note: I am not going to chase comps, I simply am trying to focus my play at one resort

More information would help. What do you play? How much do you bet? And how many hours a day?

Subscribed for information. Wynn and Cosmo are my two favorite properties as well.

As far as Wynn properties go:

Get a Wynn red card and use it every time you play.
Being a new club member, you will most likely get discount rates/offers about month or two after you sign up.
They ask for an email address to get the information sent to you.
Play at your comfort level and as you say, without chasing comps, and the offers will show up in
    your email.
Just remember, they'll expect you to play at least at the same level of previous play for future offers.
If you plan on a long term relationship with the Wynn, I'd recommend getting a host to work with you.
Especially if you charge everything to your room and hope to get it taken off at checkout (based on your play).
Wynn and Encore are great properties with wonderful service.
Good luck on your next trip.

Play $25 anything at Comso for about an hour or so....you'll get at least 2 night offers pretty frequently. Did that 2 years ago (haven't spent a penny since) and STILL get offers like that (using one next month).

Those offers are more luck of the draw and not based on your play at the tables. As long as you are a member of the identity club you may receive these offers. I have a friend who never ever gambol but he still get these offer and so do i. In fact i got 4 free nights coming up and some free play without giving them much action. On the other hand i heard of a lot of people who do gambol a lot but still don't get their room comped.

Don't want to hijack but do non us / Canadian folks ever get offered comps. We don't seem to get anything via mail (not unexpected) or email. Standard tier discount on mlife site and that's it, despite going for 2 weeks every July.

Staying 2 nights at cosmo in July of the first time and really hoping to get on their radar.

I know from talking to those who work at Wynn/Encore, in order to get free nights comped, you must average a bet of $250 over 4 hours of play, or obtain 5000 points daily through slot play. Just passing along what I was told from those who work at the Wynn/Encore.

According to my host at Wynn, 4000 points/day or $200/hand for 4 hours will get you a comp’d Tower Room. So I’m guessing that 3000 points or $150/hand would get you a comp’d Resort Room.

Nikkid21 - Being from Canada has nothing to do with receiving comps from any casino in Vegas. If you have played enough time and or money you will warrant comps. Sometimes for minimal play casino marketing will send out offers to get you in the door. Both through my email and my snail mail, I am inundated with offers.

I’ve ready plenty on here about folks form the UK/Europe not getting marketing offers. I think you probably ought to start a new thread on the subject to see how the other VMBers from across the pond handle it because I know plenty of them still get comp’d rooms.

If you're not playing a few hundred dollars a hand at blackjack, play the slots. They're much easier to get comps at slots.

Not sure why you're leaving mlife. It's quite possibly the best comp system out there. Sure it has its flaws. They all do though.

I definitely don't play at that level. But I'd settle for better rates! Probably just going to spread my play out and have fun. I don't play more than 25-50 a hand anyway (although sometimes for a long long long time)

In two trips I have earned Gold Identity (20,000 points). All on VP, BJ and slots. After the last trip, I had a host call me and offer an upfront room comp for 3 nights whenever I want.

If your playing that low, a discount on rooms is all you can hope for.

If you continue going to Vegas, you'll be back at mlife in no time. I've done all the comp systems and ended back at mlife after leaving for a while.

Spreading it out is the worst thing you can do if you want comps. If you are looking to get offers from a particular resort, then concentrate all of your play at that resort.
